Growth Mindset vs. Fixed Mindset
Your business is like a mirror constantly reflecting your mindset back to you. Whatever you love, whatever you fear, whatever you hate, whatever you are tolerating in your personal life, will ALL show up in your business. It’s very simple - if you don't like what’s being reflected in your business - change YOURSELF.
First we will dive into what growth and fixed mindsets are, rounding out our first module with John Maxwell's Keys to Excellence and how we can reverse a fixed mindset.
Module 1
What is Accountability?
This module is all about why it's important to have accountability systems to grow your business and your team.
It starts with YOU!
As childcare owners, we are held to high regards because of the nature of our businesses. Parents are entrusting us with their most precious jewels.
We will start with learning what accountability is and move on to recognizing warning signs and solutions.
Module 3
Law of Process & Personal Growth
The number one challenge we are having in our centers according to a survey I administered to childcare owners all over the US is, we don’t take time out for ourselves because of what’s on our daily schedules.
Our childcare centers are holding us hostage, causing us to be extremely overwhelmed and at our wits end because of ALL the hats we are wearing.
In this module we will learn the importance of consistency and how to create a plan for activating personal growth.
Module 4
5 Levels of Leadership
It’s important to understand, true leadership isn't just a matter of having a certain job or title. Anybody can be given a title. In fact, being chosen for a position on the job or in social settings is only the first of the five levels every effective leader achieves.
To become more than just "the boss", you have to master the ability to invest in people and inspire them. To grow further in your role, you must achieve results and build a team that produces. You need to help people to develop their skills to become leaders in their own right.

Law of the Lid
The law of the lid says, “Leadership ability determines a person's level of effectiveness.” If you can get a handle on this law, you will see the incredible impact of leadership on every aspect of your life.
A leader’s growth determines the growth of his followers.
Leadership ability is the lid that determines a person’s level of effectiveness. The lower an individual’s ability to lead, the lower the lid on his or her potential. The higher the individual’s ability to lead, the higher the lid on his or her potential.
In this module we will first learn the importance of leadership. Then, we will begin to understand that when we grow our people, our business follows!
Module 6
Finding Quality Staff
Hiring the right person is essential. Your business is only as good as your employees. Hiring the wrong person can cost you more than just money.
Once we begin to determine your dream team, we then walk you through on the screening process.
The purpose of the telephone interview is to save time and eliminate candidates that are unlikely to meet the company’s minimum position requirements for the job vacancy. The screening questions are based on the potential candidate's experience, qualifications, and salary expectations pertaining to the position and the company.
Module 7
The Onboarding & Training Process
The Onboarding process is meant to help employees transition from the role of a new hire to one of a full-fledged team member. This process must be managed carefully to help new hires adapt to the organizational culture, values, and processes. Otherwise, the chance of facing high turnover among new hires increases, and the time, effort, and energy spent behind recruiting are done in vain.
In this module we will take you through the onboarding orientation all the way through to Themba's 30-60-90 Day Process.
